DB Chase hails from Mt. Clemens, Michigan and has been performing onstage’s starting 1973. I just knew that music was going to be my whole life.
In his senior year of high school, my band (KAB / Kick Ass Band) won the battle of the bands in 1974 which gave me the first taste of the rock-n-roll
life. Winning this event put me on stage as the opening act for Bob Segar and the Silver Bullet Band at the Pontiac Civic Center in Michigan 1974.
After 4 years of banging around the burb’s of Detroit, I felt it was time to move on to a bigger music scene and ended up in Southern California 1978. From Michigan to Southern California was a big eye opener! Back then rock started to crossover into the country scene and I just went along with it. 1978
to 1992 with my own band, opened up for many country artist like Earl Thomas Conley, Little River Band, Alabama, Shelly West, Chis LeDoux and
Garth Brooks and many more. Well the music scene was changing fast in SoCal, so it was time for a reset.
Late 1992 moved to Nashville where I really focused on my singer/ songwriting career and also picked up some tour dates in 96 playing lead
guitar for Billy Jo Royal. His big song was (Down In The Boondocks). After that I ventured into opening some business’s along with still playing music &
writing. I opened a Mortgage Company and Chase’s Sports Bar & Grill from 1998 to 2015. After selling my company's I solely dedicated myself to song
writing & performing in the great Honky Tonks on lower Broadway in Nashville. Honky Tonks like Tootsies, The Stage, Whiskey Bent Saloon, Lucky
Bastards, Bootleggers Inn, Mellow Mushroom, The Tin Roof, The Omni Hotel, Wild Horse Saloon, Acme/Feed & Seed, Nudies, AJ’s Good Times Bar, Honk Tonk Central and so forth.
Now in 2025 currently with the group Boys in the Band - The Alabama Tribute and traveling many states in a month and having a blast. I
